First Weekend in March

I'm so excited that we're officially into March! My birthday is the end of this month and hopes of spring are plentiful!

Last week felt like such a long week, so I swung by Starbucks on the way to work. Iced americanos are always my go-to!

Our creative director also brought in donuts and I just couldn't resist a half of a sprinkle one -- it definitely hit the spot!

After work, Andy and I headed out to The Galleria (an upscale shopping center) so that we could hit Good Earth, which is one of my favorite restaurants! We walked around for a bit while we waited for a table and it definitely had me itching to do some spring shopping! I meant to swing into Vineyard Vines while we were there but I totally forgot.

I ordered my usual Greek salad and love that it comes deconstructed!

Afterwards, we headed to the newly remodeled Barnes & Noble and hung out there for a bit. As always, we grabbed a stack of books and paged through them before heading home. I love flipping through books at B&N because it gives me an idea of which books to add to my requests at the library.

The next morning, I slept in until 9am, which is so rare for me! Usually I'm up and at 'em by 6am on weekends. I quickly got ready and then swung by the library to grab a few books that were on hold.

My next stop was Target to pick up some Cadbury Mini Eggs to bring to Andrea's so that we could make cookies with them. I had bought a bag earlier in the week but I made the mistake of opening it to eat "a few" and ended up doing that each night this week -- whoops. I also grabbed my favorite flavor of kombucha while I was there.

I was chatting with my sister for just a minute or two and when we turned back around, the girls had a whole bunch of toys in the cookie mixing bowl, along with a box of baking soda! Kids are so funny!

After making cookies, we ate lunch and then headed outside for a walk since it was almost 50 degrees. The temp was warm, but the wind was so intense and chilly so we didn't last very long.

We decided to head back to the house after Chloe landed in a puddle and was left with soaking wet jeans.

Once inside, my sister and I hung out while the girls napped, and then I hit the gym on the way home for an upper body workout. The gym was totally empty and it was GLORIOUS.

I walked on the treadmill while finishing a book after my strength training and then came home and started binge watching the new 911 show on Hulu. If you haven't seen it yet, I'd highly recommend it -- it's SO good!

What show how are you currently loving?

What’s your favorite kind of donut?
