Things have been a little quiet around these parts as I’m trying to really soak up these last days with Fletcher before I go back to work!
We’ve been taking advantage of these gorgeous spring days by going for lots of walks to the park and through the neighborhoods.
Fletcher usually takes a long nap during our walks and I take advantage of the fresh air and the time to catch up on some of my favorite podcasts.
Last week, we spent the afternoon at my friend’s house — she had a baby boy about 6 weeks after Fletcher was born so naturally, they will be best friends. :) Fletcher was crying because he didn’t want to go home but Wylder was being a little angel.
Fletcher is getting stronger every day and this morning when I went to pick him up out of his bassinet, he was trying to roll from his back to his tummy. He’s already mastered the tummy to back roll, so I think it’s only a matter of time before he can roll both ways!
He is quite the little ham these days — always smiling and cooing at us when we play with him! He’s also continuing to grow — his newborn clothes are still big on the sides, but everything is starting to get too short on him (as seen in the photo below) since he is long and lean just like his daddy.
We did his monthly photoshoot the other day and said “Fletcher, we’re going to take your picture!” He totally posed like this, stiff as a board and didn’t move for like two minutes, ha ha!
Lately, Andy’s been doing our weekly Costco haul since it’s on his way home from work but I decided to go on Saturday morning since I had a couple exchanges to do at the mall. I ended up scooping up these cute tennies to wear to work this spring / summer and I just love the fun color that they are!
I just heard Fletcher wake up from his nap, so I’m headed to go grab him! Have a great day!
