It's book review day! If you're looking for some recommendations, you may check out my past book reviews here!
Fervent // Priscilla Shirer
I LOVED this book by Priscilla Shirer! It definitely has a lot of the same touch points that my Bible study book has, but things are elaborated on a little bit further.
Almost Gone // Mackenzie & John Baldwin
This book was SO good -- I read it from cover to cover in just one sitting! It covers the story of Mackenzie Baldwin, a young girl that starts chatting online with a man from Kosovo. Their secret relationship quickly develops and she begins to craft a plan to move there to marry him. Little does she know, he has a hidden agenda... This book is authored by both Mackenzie and her dad -- the chapters switch off between them to show two points of view to the story. Would highly recommend this one!
Reading People // Anne Bogel
Okay, this book was SO eye-opening! There was one chapter in here that I'm going to devote a blog post to because it was so good! I picked this book up on a whim and read the whole thing this past Sunday -- I couldn't put it down! I snapped this pic to send to my bestie and my aunt; I also brought it to work and shared it with our creative team because I loved it that much! It combines Myers Briggs, Enneagram, Strengths Finder, and the Love Languages all into one!
God is Able // Priscilla Shirer
This one was a super quick read and is filled with a lot of great reminders -- it would definitely be a great book if you're going through a challenging time, or just need a refreshing book about hope!
Body Kindness // Rebecca Scritchfield
I always love these types of books -- I just think it's so interesting to read different perspectives on health and nutrition. This book had a ton of information on each page -- some of it was old info to me, but some was new. It was good, but not great.
