What's Up Wednesday #3

You guys! I can hardly believe another month has flown by -- doesn't it seem like September just started?

I'm linking up to share what is up in my world lately -- feel free to play along in the comments!

What we're eating this week:
I'm all about squash lately -- acorn, spaghetti, and butternut!

What I'm reminiscing about:
Now that we're officially into fall, it's got me all excited for these next few months and holidays! We've been talking about things we did last year and which ones we'd like to repeat over the course of the next few months. On the radar: visit an apple orchard, put our Christmas tree up way too early, have a little Halloween celebration, etc.

What I'm loving:
Candles! I literally light one every single night that we're home -- it just makes our living room smell so good and feel cozy!

What we've been up to:
Touring lots of homes in the parade, trips to the arboretum, weekly date nights, and enjoying the fall weather!

What I'm dreading:
As part of my September goals, I just called and scheduled an appointment for a dental cleaning and a skin scan with my dermatologist and I can't say that I'm looking forward to either of them!

What I'm working on:
Letting go of control -- it's hard one!

What I'm excited about:
I love all of the "-ber" months (September - December), and am loving this season of cool weather, cozy nights, and the anticipation of the holidays

What I'm watching / reading:
All of the fall premieres of my favorite shows -- American Housewife starts tonight! I've also been reading these three books for various book clubs / groups I'm in. #1, #2, #3. I also just started this book the other day and am enjoying it so far!

What I'm listening to:
Ever since watching You've Got Mail a few weeks ago, I've been enjoying the soundtrack and original motion picture score while I work

What I'm wearing:
Lots of fall clothes!

What I'm doing this weekend:
I'm crossing my fingers for good weather so that we can hit the apple orchard! The photo above is circa 2010 when we went to the apple orchard back in our dating days -- we got engaged the weekend after this trip to the orchard!

What I'm looking forward to next month:
Celebrating our anniversary

What else is new:
I think that just about covers everything!
